If you’re not having at least 5 sales conversations a week then you will struggle in business. Sometimes the sales conversation is known as the ‘consultation.’ They’re both the same. What I mean is that you should be offering your service or product in conversations consistently every week. When you commit to attracting ‘sales conversations’ and do it in such as way that you become the listener and problem solver, you will have more business then you know what to do with. Many small business owners struggle finding clients in the beginning and even some continue to struggle ongoing. If you perfect your sales conversation while consistently having at least 5 a week with your ideal clients you will feel the struggle diminish. You will get better at having productive conversations and a lot better at solving your ideal clients needs because you will begin understanding their pain and struggle through their own words. You can then turn around and use those same words to attract more of the same ideal clients.
1. Speaking in front of live audiences is the best way to create sales conversations that result in more clients. When you speak in front of groups you have the opportunity to not only educate and become credible in your areas of expertise but you’ve got a chance to turn it into several complimentary sessions. Consider offering complimentary sessions with ideal clients during your presentation.
2. Networking at Meetup.com and other groups can lead to fast client attraction. Commit to attending at least two networking meetings a week and do this for at least 6 months until your business is full and thriving. Live interaction with face to face conversation works the fastest to get business. Potential clients need to know, like and trust you before they will do business with you.
3. Sponsorships are one of the best ways to find your ideal clients fast and in large numbers. Set up your calendar to have several each quarter throughout the year in your industry and you will be sure to have a full practice of clients talking about you. Not only will you have the opportunity to get to know them but you will have the opportunity to begin your list of qualified leads and follow-up with them.
4. Warm letter of Introduction Craft an email or letter to send out in snail mail letting everyone you know what you are now doing. Whether you are introducing your new business or sharing a change in your business this is a great way for others to either refer you to someone that needs your services or feel compelled to contact you a need they have that you can help with.
